Feeby is a messy eater and there are bits of canned food she 'flings' all around when she eats. She likes to eat on her window perch, and I am constantly removing and cleaning the towel covering the top of the perch. So, I thought I had a bright idea to use a placemat in the area where I set her dish when she is eating! I set it down, she ate, and then I had to take the dish and re-scoop into a pile what was left of her food (normal routine, unfortunately). This is what I came back to - she moved right on top of the entire placemat!!!!! Really?!?!

Feeby (15+yo) has been through a lot this year - so, at this point, she can eat in any position/location she wants! It just would be nice if she left the placemat for her food!! :rolleyes2:

Feeby is using the placemat correctly, by looking at that picture i think it is us humans who have got it all wrong. I guess we learn something new every day :)
