I have just taken in a pair of 2 to 3 day old kittens. I have fostered bottle babies before so I kind of have a handle on it. However these babies back legs and tails are always soaked with urine that has leaked while they were sleeping. Has anyone encountered this before?

It’s unusual so young, but kittens can urinate on their own. Are you stimulating them both before and after feeding? Which brand formula are you using?

Sarthur2 Sarthur2 thank you! Using PetAg KMR. Stimulating after, they are already wet with urine before. They are eating very well.
Will start stimulating before as well.

In case this info is of use to anyone, the leaking became less frequent starting around three weeks. Both kittens took easily to the cat box. At four and a half weeks they are fully continent and are on their way to being weaned.
