My first kitty!

Hi everyone! You can call me Daphne, and I'm a new cat owner!

It's been a month since I adopted my first cat - a siamese mix kitten (or at least he looks a lot like a siamese cat...) - from a local shelter.

My days have been a lot happier since I got him! His name is Príncipe, which means "prince" in Portuguese. It was the name of my mom's siamese cat when she was very young, and we decided to name my kitten after him!

Príncipe is a very playful kitten, and I must agree that he acts like a prince sometimes - he likes to take the best spot on the couch, sleeps right on the middle of my bed and he seems to really like when I brush his coat.
