Just over a month ago, I was still in the throes of a (short and comparatively easy but still stressful) cat introduction. Now, those two she-devils are conspiring against me.
They have joined forces to get me out of bed. I woke to the feeling of a soft kitty paw patting at my hand in front of me, gently (but very insistently) reminding me that it's time for breakfast (it wasn't, by the way). I just groaned and tucked my hand out of reach of persistent little kitty paws... only to feel another paw patting my other hand, behind my back. Another morning I woke up feeling kind of weird, and rolled over to see two pairs of eyes staring intently.
They also team up to make me feel profoundly weird in the bathroom. My bathroom is small and very narrow. They like to sit between me and the door, one kitty against each wall, and just... watch. They actively follow me in there. Bathroom time has somehow become a family social event for them. They'll even groom each other in there.
My little family is cute and warm, if somewhat lacking in any sense of boundaries.
