Unfortunately he is epileptic. He came from a litter of a stray tortie. Everyone at the vets has to come see him or photo him when he gets his checkups. Apparently, he is rare. Wonder if that's linked to him being epileptic? I was told thats not common in cats either

I agree - absolutely stunning, and very uncommon. As to any genetic links to Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy, none have yet been found, and a very thorough study was completed in 2014 which showed no overt over-reprentation in any of the breeds examined.

Thank you. We love him very much. Just learning to use this site....
He is the biggest snuggle bug ever. Bottled raised from 2 weeks forward. Mom got sick so we took over five of them to feed.only thing close to his color is the rare Havana Brown. I watched him be born so I know better

Wow, thank you for that info. The vet has always been wishy washy about that. They are too busy playing with him sometimes I don't think they are listening to me. They let him out of his carrier and he roams around in the room taking in the attention.
