Love Names For Your Furkids

Mine are pretty simple. Lily is Lily Girl, and Mingo is sometimes Mingerino. When they're naughty, it's Bad Cat. Of course, they both get called Sweetie and Sweetheart, too.

Mrowmrow: Quimby (part of his actual name; I guess Mrowmrow is actually the nickname...ha), Blue Boy, Little Mister, Peter Parker (when he comes up from the basement covered in spider webs), Harry Potter (when he hides in closets), Jelly Belly Boy, Tenzing Norgay (when he climbs on top of the doors), Oliver Twist (when he cries for more food)...I'm sure there are others. Most of his nicknames are off the cuff, grumbled pop culture references whenever he does something that annoys me.

Shadow: Dozes, bunny, Honey Bunny, love dove, bebe, little queen, sneezy, gorgeous, softy, huntress, artemis
Kitt: Monster, bear, little bear, Honey bear, kiki, kikitt, big boy, bud, buddy, slick, little prince, nut, handsome, hunter

All of them are called Baby, sweetie, speedbump, speedy or honey at some point. Jynx, my last cat, started t speedbump trend. She was kitten, Jynxie, spooky, Honey bee, yelloweyes, lucky girl, and flash.

Socks: Sockies, Socks-Baby, Sausage Cat, Sausage Roll, Socksy, Sock Face, Squashy Cat, Grey Thing (she is the only grey in a sea of black)

Izzy: Izzababes, Izzles/Wizzles, Izzywizzywoo (or just Wizzywoo), Wizzy, Izzers, Woo and Izz. She is Isabelle when she is a bad kitty.

Mittens: Mitts, Mit Mits, Mitties, Itty Bitty Mitty, Mitty Moo, The Mitten Kitten.

Amber: Ambies, Amboo, Boo Boo, Baby Boo, Ambest Boo and Tiny Cat.

Collectively the cats are fluff muffins, jellybeans, itty bitty kitties so pretty, little kitten pies, little loaves of bread or cat loaves (when they lie down with their legs tucked underneath), Baby Paws, muffins, furry things, furry friends or fur babies.

Charlie is also Kitten, Charlie Kitten, Charles Spencer Kitten, and occasionally Mr. Kitten.

Makena: we sometimes call him "spotty pants" (for obvious reasons.)

Lilia: for reasons completely unknown to me, my wife calls Lilia "Chuch."

June Bug: since she is still a kitten and learning the concept of her name, we are very careful to only use the name June Bug. Behind her back we refer to her as "The Orange Terror" or "Cream-sickle Cat"

Nicknames I gave my old cats (still living at my parents' house)

Mia: Mia-Bear, Miss Mia, Mimi, Mini Mi, Little Mi

Muffy: Fluffy Muffy, Little Miss Muffy, Muffers, Fluffer Nutter

Toby: Tobster, Toby-Boy, Boy Cat (he's the only male)

Nyx: Honeybun, because she's the sweetest kitty ive ever had. I used to call her Boney Maroni when i got her because she was so skinny, but she's gained weight. All cats i run across get called Boo-Boo Kitty at some point. And sometimes i say hows my little Meow-Meow =^..^=

There is no logic in this names, since I do not need logic in relation with a cat. Mother Nature has no logic. :-))).

I am struggling to keep his wild nature, to keep him Animal. That is very difficult. So I refrain using love-names sensu stricto.

I mostly use their names, since they know them, but here are their occasional nicknames:
Maggie: Mags, Magnolia, Maggie May, Magpie, Migglebutt, Miggleton, The Kraken
Demi: Dem, Dem-Dem, Deminator, Demolition, Baby, Mama's Baby, Mama's Angel, Bad Boy
And both cats know each other as Boyfriend/Girlfriend, so I guess those are nicknames too
