Greetings, ya'll!
My 4 month old kitten was spayed today. When picking her up from the vet's, I decided to buy her the soft e-collar so that she wouldn't try to take out her stitches. She seems to be doing fine, if only a little lethargic. However, I am worried about her getting in and out of the litter box okay. The boxes I have about 5-6" walls. She was fine when using them before, but now that this collar is on her, I worry that she'll decide that the floor next to the boxes would be good enough rather than struggle with getting in lol! Am I overthinking this?
She's not used to the cone at all yet.
Any advice would be more than welcome! I've tried taking the collar off her to see what she does, and she goes at her own wound as if it were made out of catnip.
