One of my favorite authors died today. She wrote THE CAT WHO Mysteries, which are some of my all time favorite books, I reread them often. I'll miss Koko and YumYum's adventures. RIP Lillian.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was coming to The Cat Lounge to write a post about whether or not you talk to your cats, and I was going to mention Jim Qwilleran as an example, with Koko and Yum Yum.

I'm so sad to hear this. I love that whole series! Rest in peace, Lillian!

I love her books - I have all of them, and I have introduced them to lots of other people, not necessarily cat people. The books are such an insight into life in a very insular but wonderfully quirky community, apart from the characters and intelligence of the Siamese cats, Koko and Yum-Yum.

I have almost all of her books and enjoyed reading about Koko and YumYum (and Jim and all the other human characters, too). She will be missed.
