Licking Poop Off Fur, Will This Cause An Infection?

hi, my kitty got some poop on her fur yesterday. I cleaned it off as best I could, but there was still some left behind.

Would her licking poop cause an infection?

Hi in my opinion probably not, however i'm glad you were able to help her clean things up, that was a good thing! Keep an eye out in case it happens again and/or with frequency.

I don’t think so. All cats lick their own behinds clean on a regular basis and no one is getting sick from it.
