Hi, I noticed my new 5 month old kitten’s left third eyelid sometimes shows when he blinks. Only the left one and not every time he blinks. It swipes across his eye but is gone again as soon as he’s stopped blinking.

He is very well in himself, very playful and loves to eat. Is it normal to see it when he blinks or does this warrant a vet visit? (He is fully jabbed etc)

Thanks!

Question- answer is much appreciated

This is another thread that might help. If you saw both third eyelids clearly visible and fixed, it would mean some kind of illness. Your baby certainly does not look that way. How much swipes across his eye?

Topical irritation in one eye only, if that?
