We got a kitten yesterday, he's from a litter of 5 and is the runt, he'll be 8 weeks in 2 days but he looks more like a 4-5 week old and walks a little bit wobbly, he starting to get used to us and now plays like a 8 week old but it's just his size and walking that im unsure about
Mind you it could be because he's the runt.

He wont stay still for a good picture xD

He may be the runt. Most runts eventually catch up. Most important is that he eats frequently and well! He'll grow! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

8-week-olds are smaller than most people think ;). But he does appear to be that age. Younger kittens have stubby little "carrot" tails but his tail looks like it's longer. He'll grow fast enough, enjoy that baby age while you can. He's a cutie!

Unless there is a chance they adopted up another kitten (which MAY happen in litters living outside), so its anyway the explanation he is a runt. He perhaps had other troubles as well?

A tip: you can always give him goats milk as a nice supplement, to whatever diet he gets.

Congrats also to your Pip surviving Pneumonia.  Pneumonia is perhaps THE single greatest cause of deaths among healthy born kittens.  Quite common with handraised kittens, but what many dont know, not unusual with kittens having momma too... Healthy in the evening, cold in the morning...

What did you do to save Pip?

Actually, we had to put Pip down a week ago at the age of 10 weeks, his Pneumonia developed into Pleurisy, and it was clear that he wouldnt get better.
Sorry if the post mislead you, I just havent wanted to say anything about Pip passing
