I would be curious to know what you think about the length of my kitten's hair. He is said to be half-persian (father is persian) and was the only one who had different and fluffy coat as a newborn too.
In this picture he is 10 weeks old. Now he is 6 month old with extremely fluffy tail that is contstantly growing, also longer fur is visible on his belly and back but not elsewhere.
What do you think when will he have fully grown fur? 18-24 months? Will he develop longer fur on other parts of his body too? He has extremely long ear and toe tufts too.

Wait for the winter season... So he is at least mediumhair, possibly longhair. I gather the shorthaired momma was a carrier of the longhair gene, and so these genes met in him.

Also, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with fur length or the persian breed but he is now 6 month old and roughly 6.6 pounds. Not at all overweight, still in the growing phase (long body, long legs, still relatively small head etc.)
