This is about my youngest son. Back in Nov he had his tonsils and anoids removed. He had this done because about a month & an 1/2 before he got strep and his tonsils permanently swollen and he had a hard time breathing an eating. Also they did a turbinate reduction because the doctor said it sounded as if he was having a very hard time breathing through his nose.
Fast forward 6 mths roughly. He always has a dry blocked nose. Both sides. Especially after he wakes up. And you can tell he can not breathe through it just by listening to him. So I have to clean it out. Right now one side is clogged pretty bad and it appears to have been bleeding but I am having a difficult time clearing it so he can breathe easier. I will try again later to get it unclogged.
I don't know if I explained this issue all that well. Really I don't know how to explain it or look this issue up. But does anyone have any idea what could be going on and why. I thought the turbinate reduction would help it but apparently not.
