Well, I had to give a hint, but you got it! Dr. Jean will be our guest starting tomorrow and I already have a question posted. For this one you had to read Anne's post at http://thecatsite.com/forums/announcement.php?f=2 and then take a look at the first link which give a bio of our guest and her cats. Yep, the purpose of today's quiz was to call attention this. Get your questions ready and give a warm welcome to our new guest.Originally Posted by luvmycat1

We don't have a vet that specializes in our area. They are all large and small animal vets due to it being a somewhat rural area. I don't mind having a vet that doesn't specialize in cats. I have always gotten the best care imaginable for my animals. I also don't feel that women automatically make better vets over men. The vets I see are a young (30 years old) husband and wife team. He does the surgical cases and she does the general appointments, for the most part. They are the most caring doctors, human or animal, that I have ever met. Both of them always go way out of their way to help me, my pets, and also strays that I have brought in...including a wild bird with a broken wing once. He spends extra time educating the people who work at the local humane society. There was one incident where my cat was having respiratory issues, and they took the time to call nearly every hour on a weekend for updates. I really love my vets and wouldn't trade them in even if there was a feline specialist in the area!Originally Posted by Persi & Alley

Do you have a vet in your area that specializes in cats? Do you wish you did? Do you feel that women make better vets? Why or why not?
Well gee, read the rules then! You did by luck use one of the five words picked for today, compassionate. But the cats picked the final word of gentle. I write the KatKwery questions and I ask DW to give me five words that come to her mind. Yesterday those words were compassion(ate), gentel, rough, education, love. Persi picked gentel from the five words in a totally random manner. If people talk about the questions, they are bound to use the secret word sooner or later.Originally Posted by glitch
