Minstrel has round eyes like my blighty. You said ginge is now the smallest..
She probably just takes after her mom.
Soo cute
I want to call ginge ginger..
Both blighty and whisky are boys.Yes, @Stewball
, Minstrel's eyes are round like Blighty's, but I don't think they'll be as big. Blighty is beautiful. A boy? Another tuxedo cat! And it looks like Blighty has a bow tie just under his nose!
I checked your thread tonight (our time) and what beautiful kittens you have too - a little bit younger than mine so you can look forward to similar progress to these three, I guess. I look forward to checking your thread to see how they develop....Sitting here now with my 4 little ones and cannot imagine saying good bye to any of them. Perhaps wait until Ginge hits her mark so they can be together a few more days. It will be very quiet around your house when they go! How old are they now? Take comfort in knowing they will get good forever homes. Perhaps you can request updates....
@Stewball
, I thought the same. Those yawns look so much like laughs. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could laugh!
Yes, please do keep us posted! Perhaps you'll get an extension, which would be wonderful.
I will wait until Ginge hits her weight, and a bit more. The kittens' vacinations are due on 17 May so I should be able to wait until then and when I take them for the vacinations they'll probably decide at that point if they're to be handed over. I read they have a lot of foster kittens at present, so I might get an extension!I'll request updates, but it will probably depend on who adopts them. A thought for another day....
I estimate they'd be about 9 weeks old now.
.Are you sure you can't keep one? You're made of much sterner stuff than I am. I managed to get quite a few of the kittens from the colony I care for rehomed, but I ended up keeping far more
love itThat's a great pic and caption, @peony
. I think the key is snapping the photo at just the right moment in a yawn or a meow, and you can get a funny shot, like I did last night:
CRAZY Possum! :lol3:
@Stewball I don't think you're making it any easier.Sorry my phone is blah.
keep their claws short without cutting the quick again. You can buy special claw covers that are soft. Save mama and the furniture.
You asked for advice because you know deep down you want v keep them, and my advice is keep them. Think of the joy you'll bring yourself and your mum. They love you both. How can you think of separating then from each other and you, they're mum. It would be too cruel to do so.
Do v have any other animals? If not then three kitties are just right. My first came and a few weeks later no.2 turned up and then no. 3. It was wonderful. You see I manage with two. I'd love another one. I even had 2 kitties and a big dog and we managed just fine. Think hard about what you REALLY want Andy not what you think is expected of you. Three babies with a forever loving home.
Please think and do what I tell you to do. I'm 70 so b have the experience. We all want you to keep them.
I'm not trying b be mean. I'm trying to help her make up her mind to do what she really wants to do. The soft gel claw things would stop mum getting scratched.@Stewball
I don't think you're making it any easier.
A big thing about fostering is the saying goodbye... it's a really special thing to be able to love and socialise kittens so that they can find wonderful forever homes.
I'm not saying don't keep any, @Checkers
.. If you can that's great, but if you can't you're doing a wonderful thing for these kittes.
