There is a local raw food company here selling raw cat and dog food. Their ingredients are:

chicken, tripe, beef kidney, beef heart, fish, beef muscle meat, bone, eggs

Wondering if it's good to feed a cat and if supplements are required?

What’s the name of it? Do they have a website? I’d like to read more about it.

There’s no name or website. It’s homemade by a small local company and they’ve just mentioned the price and ingredients

So...just my opinion here! I wouldn’t feed this. There’s no way to know the meat/bone/organ percentages (should be 80/10/10) so if you added supplements—and it needs some—you wouldn’t know how much to add. And it’s missing liver and a source of iodine. I assume the fish is to supplement Omega 3 but how much is there and what kind of fish? I use fish oil in my recipe but would never add fish itself. (I use Dr. Pierson’s recipe at catinfo.org.)

Hopefully other folks with more knowledge than mine will chime in... :)

I agree with Tobermory Tobermory -- I wouldn't feed it. Same reasons. I guess that if the company gave a full accounting of nutritional data and what, exactly, they're including, I might consider it but it just sounds risky.
