Place a towel over the carrier so he can't see out. Vet might also be able to give you a tranquilizer if he's really uncooperative.

Yes the little circle is the tip of it. Cats have retractable penis so you will only see it when they are excited.

You put him in the carrier by standing it on its side and putting the cat in quickly. Then you drive even as he complains. He'll be ok.

Don't feel bad, this happened to me twice. First with my childhood cat Mally, now with my Demi. I thought they were both girls and gave them girls names. Luckily the names worked out okay for boys. Are you going to keep the name Nala for him?

Yes..i think so..he recognises it,even though he ignores me when i call..i am findin it hard to remember to call him him and not her...lol..

Yeah, Demi already knew his name by the time I figured it out, so I couldn't really change it.

My Hector we were told was a boy but wound up being a girl the day she was to be neutered. The vet said they couldn't neuter her because she was a girl.

Her name just stuck though.

So change it to "Demitri," an old and honored Greek name, and still call him "Demi." I used to date a Demi.
