Okay, so her kittens will be full Persian. Go ahead and plan for a neuter for your male Persian. Will they be registered and papered Persians or not?
Regardless, Persian births CAN be more complicated due to the shape of their heads; however, many and most, Persians deliver without complications, BUT, you should be prepared to call your vet OR an emergency vet for a C-section if she has difficulty because if a kitten is stuck it can die, as can the kittens behind it waiting to be born. Persian births are known to be the most problematic cat births of all. Not to scare you, but you need to be ready.
That being said, you probably should discuss this with your vet and make plans in case your cat has difficulty once she goes into labor. Again, Persians are bred daily and deliver just fine. We just don’t know. I think you should be prepared in case your cat has difficulty. It’s the wide shape of their heads that can experience difficulty getting through the birth canal and the vagina.
All may go well with your cat and I hope it does, but be prepared for a C-section on an emergency basis if not.
Please do keep us posted!
