Glad to hear you think the baby gates can work. I wasn't saying there was no chance, just that after 9 weeks you have to find a way to change it up so you can make some progress. Baby gates is a good one to try, it will allow you to let them spend much more time seeing each other. You might need to double stack them if one wants to climb or jump. I just wasn't sure you could manage baby gates in a 2 bedroom, but if you can definitely give it a go.
