I love cats but I do not love kittens. Kittens are furry babies and as with the human kind you need to expect to lose sleep, have your space overrun and have a certain amount of stuff damaged or broken. Worth it in the long run yes, but they certainly require mental preparation, lifestyle assessment and a whole lot of work. I commend you for recognizing that you just weren’t ready for it yet and I think the experience will make you a better pet parent in the future.
