If you don't talk to your cats about catnip, who will?

I decided that after all of teh poking and prodding and jabbing at the vet yesterday, Raphael deserved a treat. So I got him one of those catnip bananas.

He is high as a kite right now.

Luna stole the bag when my back was turned. She's got it all over her, if you look closely.



Sophie decided maybe she should investigate.



It seems to affect Luna a bit more. She's just a wee bit spacey here.



Of course, after this, they tear around the house like a couple of maniacs, chasing each other, spots on the walls, fuzz on the floor, human feet...whatever.

Here is Simba on "the nip". As you can see, he gets wilder on catnip.

Cleo and Zenon only have to hear the package rattle and they'll come running. They don't even bother to sniff it, just gobble it up and go wild. Kitties have such wild looks in their eyes when they're high on catnip.

Also, there was the most amazing sweather that had a cat with his head drooping and someone shaking their finger at him. It read "if you don't talk to your cat about catnip, who will?" It was so adorable, I had to get it, but it was 40 bucks I didn't have with me, so I had to resist.

She's quite the kittypot-head.



Miss Kitty likes it, too, but doesn't get quite as excited.
