I had applied for a Care Coordinator (supervisor) job at a nursing home.
I'm currently working in an outpatient clinic and have been for the past 5 year. Prior to that I worked in a hospital looking after all kinds of patients on the wards, including geriatric patients who were waiting to go into nursing homes.
I had 2 interviews at a nursing home. I really felt that things went well and that I nailed the job.
I sent an eMail to the Director after the 2nd interview. She sent me a return eMail stating that while my interviews went really well, they are looking for someone with more recent geriatric nursing experience.
I see the position is reposted.
How can I turn this around? I feel that I am more than qualified for this job.
I want to send another email and ask to be reconsidered for the job, but I don't want to blow it! So can someone help me with the right wording for this?
