I have been using Dr Elseys clay litter. As far as clay litter (in the USA) I think it's the best. Nothing added at all and they say they filter it as much as possible for dust. But I am getting worried about my male rescue kitty licking this clay residue ( you can't stop it) daily.
I've searched for hours on the internet. I would use Feline Pine but apparently Arm & Hammer bought them and ruined it. I looked for pine pellets elsewhere but it's meager pickings.
So my local "Green" pet food store said they use this Blue Walnut for their store cat and customers like it. Complaints are that it is dark brown and tracks. Also do I want him to lick up walnut? What can I do? I even considered dirt as a natural solution - but you know, it's kind of horrible sounding - and I def don't want bugs. I'm not concerned about odor, I scoop twice a day.
Well, thanks. If anyone has any thoughts I appreciate it.
