We have an outdoor cat who had stopped eating and interacting with us and the other cats. A visit to the vet told us that he had gingivities and mouth ulcers due to his high body temp (caused by him being in the sun a lot) so we brought him inside and kept him in a cool place for a week. He recently completed his medication (antibiotics and anti-inflammatories) but his body is still noticeably warm to the touch. His stool is also a little soft, so I think he might have another condition. But I'd like to know if there's anything I can give him to cool him down more? For now, I'm just making him popsicles (he likes) and cover his body for a time with cat wet wipes (he hates) but I'd like some other tips as well.
