Help with my petition for cats

Hi I’m looking for help with my petition to raise awareness & get more signatures. I stay in West Lothian, Scotland. I’m campaigning for the law to be changed so it’s mandatory to report hitting a cat on our roads. With animals now being recognised as sentient beings this can only help. Signed the petition. That is a problem around here as well. Some people have even said that they see hitting a dog in the road as vastly different than hitting a cat. In CA, it is the law to stop if you hit an animal of any kind, but I am guessing that it is never enforced and only done if the person in question is concerned enough about the animal or concerned that they damaged their car.
