oh hon, your thread here just tugged at my heart. Remy is gorgeous. Little Saba, who is only about 20 months, lost her big brother Sasha on May 11. She adored him. She was very, very sad, as she's a rescue and he really was the only friend she had in the world. I have spent extra time with her and love her constantly. She did not eat for an entire day after Sasha's death, I was very, very worried. She did not want to do anything.
It was a bit soon....but Sammy entered our lives....he was three days from being put down because he was senior and nobody wanted him. It was earlier than I had wanted, and almost too much for Saba, but she is doing great now and as long as she has her Quality Time With Mom, all is good in her world.
