Hello!
My name is Tori! My username is actually my screen name from videogames I play, so if anyone prefers to call me Relienna or "Reli", feel free! I'm used to responding to it! ^-^
I'm a 24 year old living in Southern California with my wonderful boyfriend. We are both video gamers and somewhat anti-social, haha.
I joined a little over 2 weeks ago - hoping to seek help with my overly playful, and somewhat destructive, kitten! I have since gotten wonderful advice and have found kind of a "home" feeling here!
I'm actually a Veterinary Assistant. I was trained and graduated from the V.A. program at PIMA Medical Institute in Seattle, WA in Spring of 2011. I have worked in the field since then - putting me at a more seasoned 4 years of experience! I moved to SoCal in 2012 after meeting my boyfriend, Zach.
My current job is one that I LOVE. Great Veterinarians, that are also awesome bosses, and fantastic co-workers! We are a large 5 doctor general practice with a full booked schedule every day and I absolutely love it.
After joining this site for help I have been exploring and found myself excited that I can also offer advice and information with my experiences. You would think since I spend all day at work doing it that I would want to stay away from "the job" at home, but it is actually kind of a rewarding feeling offering help to people just because you can.
Like I said, I love my job and that means I love teaching other people what I do know. However, just because I'm a Veterinary Assistant doesn't mean I think I know everything: I am all for constructive criticism. If anyone ever feels like I have misinformed someone or you have experienced something different, feel free to tell me your end so I can learn new things too! View media item 288471
