Hello, I live on an acreage in northern Alberta Canada with my husband and pets, I currently have 10 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 chinchillas. My cats are, Mystic 10yr female, Coon (short for Raccoon) 10yr male, Lucky female and Mittens male 9yrs (Mittens and Lucky are brother and sister), Rascal, CJ, Tiger and Shadow 8yr (sisters and daughters to Coon), Tux 2yr male, and Nessie 1 yr female.
Living on an acreage we get cats dumped off around here every year, the lucky ones that stick around and tolerate, or even love the dogs, get a nice home to live in. Lucky and Mittens along with their sister Gremlyn, where the kittens of a barn cat that was dumped off the first year we move in. Rascal, Shadow, Tiger, and CJ, are Coon and Gremlyn's kittens, it was a mistake litter, Coon got to her right before getting neutered. Sadly Gremlyn died when she went to get spayed, best guess is she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia. Tux was another dump off, it took me 6 months before I caught him, mostly because I assumed he was a neighbor's, but as winter started rolling in he didn't leave and then his weight dropped it was obvious he had no home. Nessie is the newest drop off, we found her raiding our outside garbage last month and is sick (she has been to the vet and is on meds). She is quarantined in a large dog crate for now if you wonder from the pic. I will happily post more pics (I think I have millions, lol) but for now, here is each of my kitties.
