I'll guess Maremma just to emcompass the whole range of big fluffy white dogs! They featured them on discovery or animal planet not too long ago.

NO I will give a hint this is NOT AKC ... it is a type of hunting dog
That sure looks like a Shiba Inu... which was originally bred for hunting, is now classified in the AKC as a Non-Sporting breed.
