My ongoing battle with coccidia: my little foster Eeny has come down with it this time - her sister Meeny was treated succesfully (Eeny was treated prventatively at the same time) but I guess this little gal got it a bit later so I've got another 7 days of meds from the vet.
She isn't eating much so I am keepin her rehydrated with SubQ fluids.
I'd like to help her get over it quicker so I'd like to give her GSE. Problem is the stuff tastes SO bad !!! I've tried mixing it in with different things and it's still horrible.
So ! Here's my question: Can I add a few drops of GSE to the subQ fluids ? Would it be absorbed and processed that way ? Sure would make it easier than forcing it down her throat.
Thanks
Julie
