Yes, though the harm wasn't directly physical. A guy who worked for my mother doing yard work had a gambling addiction. I talked him into letting me take him to be added to the state's no gambling list, and it really helped him improve his life.

No, I have not, but my BIL used to be a professional photographer with his own darkroom. I found the process very interesting.

Yes, my cat definitely recognizes 'treat', 'no!', 'outside?', 'on the porch?', 'come on, or come here'

No Indie music for me, heard it enough when my daughters were younger.
In the car I listen to WFMT, classical and fine arts, everything from Beethoven to jazz.
I also enjoy the oldies and motown.
