I have compounded liquid prednisolone that on the package says should be refrigerated. I left the bottle out overnight by accident and wonder if the medication should still be effective? I'm assuming it's the chicken flavor that needs refrigeration, but not sure

This website says that some brands of prednisolone require refrigeration, and others don’t: PREDNISOLONE LIQUID - ORAL (Orapred, Pediapred, Prelone) side effects, medical uses, and drug interactions.

If it was left out at a typical room temperature of 70F the medicine should be fine but ask the vet to be sure. Most medicines have a small range of temperatures that they can be stored at without losing effectiveness, even ones that are labeled for refrigeration.
