Today at the vet while getting Leo's second round of shots and dewormer, the vet told me that we would neuter him at 6 months and would do a blood test at that same time to determine if Leo has feline Leukemia. He got very serious and asked me if I would abandon Leo if he ended up testing positive... I have never been so shocked by a question, and my heart hurts that he needed to ask. Does anyone have a cat/kitten with feline Leukemia? I won't know for several months whether Leo is negative or positive but it would be good to have a cat owner's perspective. I would never give up my baby for anything, I don't know how anyone could but my vet's reaction makes me think it could be common so I'm curious to know more about it. Also here's a picture from today! He loves glitter...
