My husband lost his job. The goal right now is to keep a roof over the humans and cats' heads, and keep us all eating.
After the lay off, I put my 3 kitties on Special Kitty canned food, which is $1 for 22 oz. I've been contemplating and wondering if this is about as cheap as we can get or if adding some dry food would help cut costs a little more.
Should I bother adding some dry food, or are costs going to be similar, either way?
Any comments from others who've had to feed cats during hard times? How did you make it through?
