Freya is almost 5 now, so I know she’s a bit outside the age range for it but I’ve noticed the fur between her eyes and ears has thinned out even more than when we first had her. It’s not very noticeable in the pictures and you can see it most certainly in real life, but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to help her? I’ve attached some photos.
The first is about when we got her, and then the second is a few months after, and then the last two are today.

It could be fleas or mites. When Demi was losing hair on his face and nose, Frontline Plus on the back of the neck fixed it, so I figure it was one of those, since Frontline kills both.

It’s certainly not fleas, she’s an indoor cat and I looked her belly over, no fleas there(plus I’m very observant about that kind of thing). And I shined my light down her ears and they’re both clean (aside from some waxy build up).

My cats are indoor too and I never can see fleas on them. But whatever it was, the Frontline cured it, so I thought I'd mention it.

Indoor kitties can certainly get fleas=get a flea comb and comb around the neck, base of tail and arm pits to see if you find black specks. If no black specks maybe it is over grooming. Is your cat on any medications? Inhaled meds for asthma sometimes can cause hair loss.

Hopefully you don't find any flea dirt- does your cat dig at that area or always grooming with her paw?
