So I got a diffuser and have been doing some research to find out that there are many essential oils that cats cannot be around. My question is, can I use any oil with my diffuser if the door is closed? I keep the diffuser in my room and the door is always shut so the cats never get in (for territorial reasons). I wanted to ask if anybody had a good answer before I started to use it. I don't wanna make my babies sick

Also, I would like to know, if anybody else uses a diffuser, what kind of essentials oils do you use around your cat?

I did find this for you:

List of Essential Oils that are Safe for Your Cat

I would add that they would ONLY be safe when in the diffuser, and the bottles should be secured where your cats won't come into contact with them. The diffuser should also be in a place where the cats cannot reach the un-diffused oils. And be cautious. There are a good many who think that ALL oils can be dangerous.
