So the story goes as this.
My girlfriend and I have been together for years and lived together for almost the entire length of the relationship. She recently informed me that she will be moving out back to her home state.
The problem is though is that we have had our beautiful Russian blue for over a year. It was originally her idea to adopt but the cat has fallen in love with me. It's clear she is a single person cat.
So my question is that if I let my girlfriend take her with her, for an indefinite time period. Would this greatly devastate my cat. I don't want to give her up not see her emotionally scared yet I don't want to go against my girlfriend, or ex to be.
