Coffee and Tea Talk - 2024

Two cups of dark roast black yesterday and today. It snowed here today so it felt good to hold a warm cup of coffee.

Tomorrow I’m having what I call Irish Rose tea. Irish tea plus Mint and Rose Blossom tea

I got snowed in today. Bummer. Hope it clears up for tomorrow Sunday. Pic of Dad & my Tim Hortons drinks yesterday Friday. He got hot chocolate. I got push button vanilla cappuccino with coconut syrup added. It happened again. The lady asks me "What does this push button stuff mean?" Oh lordy here we go again! I tried to explain. She said "You mean the machine one?" Yes, you push the button.

Yesterday, I tried the hot lavender latte from SB, with almond milk. BLAH.. too floral, and sweet for me. I wanted something different, as I have not been to a SB in a long time. I should have just gotten a regular latte. I wanted a cafe mocha; but, it is still Lent. I gave up chocolate for Lent. One more week to go!

I tried the hot lavender latte from SB, with almond milk. BLAH.. too floral, and sweet for me. I wanted something different, as I have not been to a SB in a long time.

The only time I go to SB now is if someone gave me a gift card. Their drinks are overpriced and you never know who's making them. The only drink they can't mess up is an Americano. Oh wait, I ordered that awhile back and asked to leave a little room because it's so hot I add a few ice cubes to it. The person who made it only filled my cup half way with espresso and steamed water even though I clearly said, leave a "little" bit of room.

There's a Keurig at our AirBnB. It made my coffee so fast. I added some sugar cubes and this rice krispie treat creamer I found at Price Chopper last night.

Dark roast black this morning and a latte with lunch. I ordered the latte with oat milk but noticed it tasted different when drinking it. Sure enough I looked at the sleeve on the cup and it said skim milk instead of oat.

Found two more Tim Hortons in towns a little farther out. Will have to go back. Didn't have time to stop. Got a chai latte at Dunkin. Added vanilla & churro syrup. Pretty good! Sweeter than their coffee drinks!

Missouri, actually. I guess they have them here as well. Edit: google says these are Rhodes Family Price Chopper, which is apparently different to the NY version. Different websites and everything

But no Tim Hortons that I've seen, alas.

I went to a little coffee shop today and built my own latte. I had them add marshmallow, white chocolate and brown sugar syrups.

Lari -- Yum on the marshmallow & brown sugar! Tim Hortons twice yesterday with Papa and again today with two friends. Push button French Vanilla Cappuccino of course with various syrups added.

Forgot to post my cappuccino before I headed home yesterday. The app won't work on Android, but I got the website to work. I've been getting points & coupons like crazy! Wish I had discovered this a year ago! But I just kept trying to get the app to work. It never did.
