Classic or mackerel?

I am wondering if my first cat was mackerel torbie or a classic? My current torbie is 100% a mackerel and easy to tell lol.

It can be difficult to tell on a longhaired cat which tends to obscure the pattern, but classic would be my guess from these pictures. Classic tabbies have larger, bolder dark markings.

Yes I was thinking classic to but wasn't sure. I have Ceriah who is a mackerel torbie, she has a ton of black and orange stripes. She is only a year old though so her markings are more prominent. She's completely different then Felice was.
