We typically go to PetSmart every couple of months and stock up on canned and dry food. After reading through this thread, I did an inventory of our Friskies. We had 71 cans. Our 4 furballs split a can a day...so we're good for a couple of months.

I needed to buy some dry food and get some more cans of renal food for Lexi, so I went to PetSmart today. The shelves where the Friskies are located were looking kind of bare. So, in a moment of panic buying, I bought another 30 cans. Now we are good until late January. Hopefully, the shortage will be over by then.

Yikes. It’s starting to remind me of store shelves before a hurricane. Empty. I’ve been trying to switch my cats for two years and they just won’t do it. Back to the drawing board!

Tiki cat after dark is what mine gets, however, the variety pack is out of stock as well. I guess that's another reason why a varied rotation is a good idea..

I have also learned that the entire Witty Kitty line is being discontinued. I rotate brands, but this is getting frustrating with the Friskies shortage.
