Leonid will go along dutifully behind you and clean (lick) the trash can and press out (hair up) the crease. Because that’s what loving cats do for their people.

Missy helping me with the grocery shopping. The smell of fresh baked bread is irresistable…
I put the sushi we were having for lunch on the table and turned back to get the apples I had sliced to go with it, and Iris thought she would help by tasting the sushi. No problem, though; it was The Spouse’s she licked...and I didn’t tell him how helpful she’d been.
