My first one was terrifying after that I was good lol. Same thing with my first rescue. Mr. Nubbs had me freaked out. He was the first one that someone told me was broken and No one wanted to take responsibility to get him better. Animal control was all we can set a trap but heres all the restrictions. So i decided i could do better.

Momma love, rescued end of march.
Coworker was feeding her at his house and found out she was pregnant. Was going to give her to a shelter but instead turned her over to me after i explained if there was no foster parent she would be spayed if she wasnt to far along.
She has the most amazing personality i think someone left her there. She was definitly at one point owned. She was so friendly. She wouls greet me with a merrrooowww. She had her babies and grew sick the next day. She hay pyrometra. She ended up needing a 1100 operation tk save her life. I raised her babies who sadly passed away to panlukopenia at the end of may. My boyfriends mom ended up adopting her and is her little adventurous love bug. She lives in the mountains and goes everywhere with her :)

Got a 911 kitten call today. We ended up getting a litter of 4 week old kittens. My coworker found them this morning and was watching to see if the mom would come back. she had not :( It's her neighbors cat and unfortunately they do not take care of her properly. There are 2 black tabby white bicolors. both girls. A boy That is mostly tabby with a bit of white and a Black tuxedo. The tuxedo has a URI. Which He is on some amoxicillin for. Super cute boy didn't want me to stop holding him. I almost took him home lol.
I trained her on how to bottle feed them and start the weening process. So for tonight she is using a large syringe if they need help feeding and leaving a small bowl with KMR until I bring her kitten chow and Wet food tomorrow. :)

 Oh no!! I pray that the impact was absorbed by the car and that you are uninjured :vibes:
Ironic that you find out about feral cats at the dealership. Years ago, when I was married to an attorney & we were returning from across the country (had bad weather, missed connecting flights, luggage got lost, etc.) , I wound up staying up for 50 hours. From about 36 hours on, I was insufferable & feeling resentful until I was driving in an early blizzard & a gust of wind ripped off my windshield wiper, forcing me to stop at an almost closing WalMart. It was then that my passenger (a probationer whom the court had released into my custody until she went into rehab) spotted a starving cat in the bushes! Poor thing was too scared to get near enough to get saved but fortunately I had a "cat rescue kit" in my luggage so I was able to leave ample food and water and the next morning, called a rescue. So,through a comedy of errors, the cat was put in my path so that it could get help! I believe it is God although some people call it luck, fate or coincidence.

:vibes: How did the doctor's visit go??? Soft tissue injury & neurological insults can take days to surface :/
And congratulations on your "Catch of the Day" - he makes a cute purity! Roe probably loves having her littermate with her. :grouphug2::bluepaw::bigeyes::redcat::whiskers::kitty:

:vibes::vibes::vibes: Prayers and vibes for the wee kitten :coldcat:He is in good care now and I know his future just got a whole lot brighter. Is he on electrolyte replacer and a goat milk kmr? I wish I could reach through the screen and help you love on him. You are amazing - all the kitties that you rescue. And you still find (more like create) the time to give us updates. I look forward to reading this one's updates. :cheerleader::happycat::catlove:

Where are you located ?

I am desperate to get a couple of feral males neutered and I might as well just be banging my head against the nearest brick wall.
Marysville like 40 minz from Sacramento I take mine up to The Auburn Spay Neuter because they do ferals for free and the drive is easier then to Sac. Less Traffic. Sac also has a Spay Neuter linked with the Auburn one and they also do Ferals free. I just dont like driving in Sac. I think there are some closer to SF as well. Probably around Berkeley. IK they are all about no kill and don't even allow De-clawing they have ordinances about it. Let me know what area your in I'm down to help you find a place to get the traps (Rent) and Bring them. If you are close I'm more than happy to help do it :D

Hes on a KMR and at first i mixed it with pedialyte for his age (4 to 5 weeks we believe) He should be having 15-22 ML every 4 to 5 hours so I'm doing about 15 every 3-4 as he will take it Hes so skinny he doesnt want to eat much but hes put on a lot of weight hes got a pear belly now! I'm proud of him. Today i had to do a vicks treatment with him I put the vaporizer in the bathroom so he could breathe easy.

Thanks much. I’m in Azusa in LA County foothills. I have a trap. I’ve done this before. My vet quit working with ferals and I haven’t found another way yet. I have two to call today who might do it so maybe good juju will prevail.

For your consideration: Personally, I have had the best luck with goat milk based formulas vs. whey based. Esbilac makes a good kmr although fresh, raw goat milk is awesome. If I use canned or powdered, I use the recipe found on Hissy's website kitten-rescue. com. I don't wind up dealing with kitten diarrhea nearly as often nor as severe. Goat milk can also be used for older cats and lactose-intolerant people ;)
You could ask your vet about using Homeopet Feline Nose Relief. I order mine from Amazon and from Chewy. It is easy to add to the water & the cats drink as if they don't realize it is in their water. The sickest ones tend to really lap it up, more so than with plain water. It works great for URIs and even for allergies during cottonwood and rabbit brush season.
And we are practically neighbors - I am on the Eastern side, in Inyo-Mono :wave3:

Awesome!! I've seen this stuff ill have to pick it up!! He's doing so much better due to crazy life issues (I just got out of a relationship that just turned physically abusive yesterday and I'm not risking myself or my animals.) I am at a friends house. He ate so well last night and is in love with my friend he climbs her! If feed him a little stop for a minute and hed meow for more. I might try the goats milk i also got kitten bisque treats for him and mix that with wet food and give him that before i go to sleep
