Hello
My cat who is 6years old looks thin but she still weighs the same. She is eating okay and acting normal. I weigh her everyday and she is still 17lbs. Now idk if I should be worried? She weighs the same but looks thinner in her back legs.
Any suggestions?

Hi!
Is she losing muscle? Can you play with her more, get her to jump and run, climb etc?

I think either by feeling her legs, or by looking at them.
When you said she's looking thinner --in the back legs, without actually losing weight, that was the first thing I thought of, or that her hair is thinning, if she's a long-haired cat.

My thoughts are actually the opposite of Furballsmom. Muscle weighs more then fat, so if she is loosing fat and gaining muscle that could explain why she weights the same but looks leaner.
Okay that makes sense. I didn’t think of that. Thanks for that
