Dr. just told me Chalupa's lymphoma is very aggressive and prognosis is not more than 57 days. My cat, Chalupa, is 11. She just had a surgery done 5 months ago to fix a rupture in the intestines, her test results then came back as negative for cancer then. But, I noticed she never really got her appetite back all the way after being very sick and she seemed a little depressed, lacking in energy, just vomited a few times over the 5 months, once was a hairball, bowel movements changed a little, no diarrhea, just slightly more twisted up darker poop. I brought her because she was getting worse last week and she vomited so I brought her to dr, ultrasound showed mass in intestines, sent for tests, came back as lymphoma.
She sleeps mostly, enjoyed the one day of nice weather we had so far outside. She still eats-but not much, watches cat entertainment videos a lot, she seems to be slowly fading away, her coat is still soft and she still acts acts like she's my baby. She won't play anymore though.
My question is, what should I do for her? should I ask the vet to put an end to this now before she starts feeling worse? Should I put her through chemo first? ho expensive is chemo? Is she going to go anyway? What should I do to help her? I worry about her all the time. Please help
