Hello,
I’m new here! This is our second batch of foster kittens and we just got them yesterday. My question was when they gave them to us they didn’t give them a bath before they applied flea medicine and said that today would be okay to wash them (I don’t know the medicine they used). However everywhere I’ve read says that 48hrs is the time to wait. It seems to be working though, like it’s set in. We found a bunch of dead/dying fleas on their blanket... so do you think it should be okay to bathe them?

If it's all dry then it has been absorbed. I think there's maybe a chance the fur could still be oily after just 1 day so the packaging says to wait. Sometimes it takes a little more than a day to disappear on my big kitty that uses the large cat dose.

Hi. I've never bathed my cats. Is there a reason they have to be bathed?

If you just got kittens from somewhere else. BATHE THEM! Don't mess around wondering what was done, when, where, and if it'll be okay. Bathe them NOW!
