So Im a first time cat owner. I took in a 5 week old stray kitten. Its hard for me to identify his breed, I know he is mixed but Im curious to know what breed(s) he can be. Its hard fir me because he has strips on his arms and bottom back but he has patches on the rest of his back. His base color is white and he has light/medium orange patches and stripes. He has grayish green eyes maybe a but blueish. He has medium/long hair.
And he lives to groom himself and be groomed.

Unlike dogs, most cats don't have any specific breed, unless you buy them from a breeder with papers. But it doesn't make them any less beautiful :)

Agree with these both answers above.

Re if he has long/medium hair or short, look at the tail.  If bushy tail, is is long/medium.  where medium is genetically a variation of long hair.

But fur lengh is a little difficult to decide on small kittens.

Like his eye color, being bluish, is surely because he is still so young.

Be very mommy to him, he needs it.

Consider also to give him a cat pal.  Perhaps an a little older, friendly cat.    He will help to raise and foster this kittens.  Also play a lot and held him company.

Most cats do prefer to have a pal.  Preferably another cat, but a friendly dog may be OK.

They do bound to their humans anyway.

Good luck!
