I have 36. My only No's were tamales, grits, pasta and tortillas.

just 3 only i dont use my oven cause it gives off an odd chemical smell when i turn it on. not willing to expose graycie and my tarantulas by letting it burn off whatever chemicals were used to clean it prior my move into this place so my oven is just storage space for my pans. tamales for as much as i love eating em is just to labor intense to try making on my own rather just buy them or be given to me by friends that do make em.

It's probably oven cleaner. It probably hasn't been used since it was cleaned. No matter how careful I am trying to get all of it wiped off I still have some of it burn off.

16, but a lot of them were years ago, some of them like making ice cream is from my childhood (butter too - homemade butter is delicious). I truly hate to cook, from scratch or otherwise.

Being vegetarian, meant a few I'd never done. Though I did substitute chickpea salad for the chicken/tuna salad. And lentil loaf for the meat loaf. And my chili was a veggie one.

26. I've done some of the cool stuff that I had a lot of fun with (pasta from scratch, ice cream, cake and frosting etc.) but I've never done things like fried chicken or cooked okra or made my own baked beans.

Same, and a lot of the cleaners have a very STRONG scent that is difficult to get rid of.

Some things I’ve observed but not done myself like making sausage so I didn’t count it. It’s surprising I haven’t made greens myself since I don’t get them at church dinners anymore.

Ive only done potluck style for crowds that big. No tortillas or tamales. I’ve observed ice cream. Jam too but less so. Not a grits fan and baked beans is another surprise.

Do you mean Japanese food? I could make a list of "Weird Japanese things you might have eaten."

No to all of them except "lived in a house without a dishwasher" - I have never owned a dishwasher and never wanted one. I haven't cooked from scratch since Home Eco classes in the 70s. I haven't cooked at all since moving into a retirement village where hot meals are provided (and the only equipment for heating in the unit is a microwave). Suits me perfectly, I always hated cooking.

Only 27. However, I do cook a lot of foods Americans refuse to even try, and the majority of our meals are home made. I don't really like the taste of most convenience foods, they taste like they come from a factory.
