Brotherly Love

As our not-so-little man Monty turns 10mos today .. I thought I would share a new pic.  Black cats are the most difficult in the world, it seems, to photogragh ,, but here are our boys:   Si on the left with his arm around his baby brother, and Monty on the right with his little feet curled up in Si's chest.

We are so very fortunate, still, that our 'baby brother' selection turned out with such mutual respect and love for one another.  This is their 4+ hour ritual, after grooming each other, then a bit of wrestling, every morning after breakfast.

I have a real soft spot for black kitties.  They are getting along so well.  I have seen photos on breeders sites that I know were professionally done and black kitties are beautiful, so shiny and regal looking.  The professionals and the very good amateur photographers can get beautiful photos of black kitties but I don't know what their tricks are for doing it.
