I just got a call from my fiance, Brody threw up his food this morning but I dismissed it as not agreeing with him. Well he just told me that Brody is throwing up stuff that just looks like saliva. I called the vet and they want him in asap. My fiance is bringing him to me at work now and I am taking him on to the vet. I hope he is ok, I am scared to death

It does, I would ask the vet if the treatment might be what is making brodie ill not just the heartworms.

No treatments yet. He doesn't start until next week. He was just at the vet one week ago for all his vaccines and he had to wait 2 weeks. The vet said vaccines and treatment would be too much.

Brody has either kennel cough or canine influenza. There isn't a way to treat the canine influenza so he is being treated for kennel cough. He received an antibiotic shot at the vets office and will be taking antibiotics and cough supressant for 3 weeks. This puts off his heart worm treatment for at least 3 weeks as well.

Poor guy, he has been through so much. I just want to get him healthy.
I could ring the neck of his previous owners about now

What a super tough day, Tanya! It's such a relief that his illness today will respond well to treatment. You're taking such great care of him! Please feel better soon, Brody!
