Water + kitty = OMG (at least for most)
My kitty is undergoing treatment for an abscessed anal gland and due to this she is having troubles using her litter box and is peeing on herself. I think due to the pain of her abscess. She is wearing An e collar but has discovered she can run her wound using the edge of the collar. So last night we put panty liners around the edge of the cone and then today got PVC foam piping and put it. Around the edge to prevent rubbing. She is determined!!!
My question is, how can I get her fur clean without giving her a bath. Her wound is still healing but she smells awful . I've been brushing her and cleaning her face since she can't and wiping her bum area with an antiseptic wash from the vet but her hindquarters are a mess from pee. I have tried doing a sponge type wash which she. Will sit through but her fur is saturated with pee. Any help would be great.
